A Day in Sam's Life
Sam starts/begins/wakes up his day at six thirty. He quickly/briskly/slowly prepares for the day and makes/eats/prepares a quick breakfast. After breakfast, Sam heads/goes/rushes to work. His job is working as a programmer, which he enjoys/finds challenging.

Sammy's Quest for Gold

Steve Learns a Lesson
Sam was/had been/went a pretty careless/reckless/thoughtless kid. He often ignored/disregarded/failed to listen his/her/their parents' advice/instructions/warnings. One day, Sam decided/chose/wanted to climb/scale/go up the tallest/biggest/highest tree in the yard/garden/park. He didn't/couldn't/wasn't able to see/realize/understand the danger/risk/peril he was in. As he reached/got to/climbed up to the top, the branch/limb/twig broke/snapped/fell. Sam plummeted/fell/crashed to the ground with a loud/sharp/painful thud/sound/crash.
- Luckily, Sam wasn't/didn't get/sustained any serious/major/critical injuries.
- But, he learned a valuable lesson/teaching/truth: always listen/heed/pay attention to guidance/advice/warnings from trusted/reliable/responsible people.
From/After/That day on, Sam became much more cautious/careful/thoughtful. He understood/realized/learned the importance/value/significance of being safe/secure/protected.
Sam's New Friend
Sam was having a little lonely. He hoped to have a new buddy to play with. One day, while he was exploring in the woods, he spotted something unusual. It was a little animal with colorful feathers. Sam carefully walked over to the creature and asked, "Hello! What's your title?" The creature smiled and told Sam, "My name is Lily!" And so, Sam made a new friend. They spent the rest of the day laughing together.
Sam was so happy to have found a new friend. He knew that he and Lily would be close buddies forever.
